HypnoBirthing®

Calm, steady support during pregnancy and birth preparation

Nervous-system support for birth — whatever path it takes

Birth doesn't ask you to be fearless.
It asks you to stay connected to yourself.

HypnoBirthing® is not about controlling birth or striving for a specific outcome.  It’s about learning how your mind and body respond to stress — and how to work with that response so you can stay grounded, present, and resourced through birth — whether it unfolds simply, becomes complex, or includes medical support.

You might find this approach helpful if:

You want to feel more calm, prepared, and confident going into birth.

Previous experiences have made it harder to trust your body or the process.

Your pregnancy includes medical complexity, induction, or planned intervention.

You want practical tools rather than birth ideology.

You want to feel more connected to yourself, whatever unfolds.

You don't resonate with "natural birth" ideology, but do want agency and inner steadiness.

HypnoBirthing gives you practical, evidence-informed tools to regulate your nervous system — before, during, and after birth.

Understanding birth is one thing.
Experiencing it is another.

Birth preparation isn't just about what you know. It's about how supported you feel when things become intense.

HypnoBirthing® offers practical tools to help you stay grounded, connected, and resourced through birth — whatever path it takes.

Through HypnoBirthing®, many people discover they can:

• Stay more present when intensity rises
• Feel less overwhelmed by uncertainty
• Communicate more confidently with their care team
• Adapt when circumstances change
• Move into parenthood feeling more grounded and connected to themselves

As a doula supporting international families in the Netherlands, I teach HypnoBirthing as practical nervous-system support — not birth ideology.

Because birth is not something you can fully control.

But you can learn how to meet it with greater steadiness, confidence, and self-trust.

You’ll receive:

• Clear explanations of why each technique works
• Support navigating hospital and midwifery communication
• Tools for anxiety regulation and emotional safety
• Guidance for informed choice — without ideology
• A calm, inclusive space where nothing is “too much”

This isn’t about a perfect birth — but meeting your birth with steadiness, self-trust, and support.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need experience with meditation or breathing?
No. Everything is taught step-by-step, in a grounded, accessible way.

Is HypnoBirthing useful if I plan medical pain relief or induction?
Yes. These tools are designed to support regulation, communication, and presence — regardless of how your birth unfolds.

Is my partner included?
Absolutely. Partners play a central role and learn practical ways to support and advocate.

Is HypnoBirthing only for natural births?

No. HypnoBirthing is about preparation, confidence, and informed decision-making — not achieving a specific type of birth. The tools can be used whether you choose an epidural, induction, caesarean birth, or hope for an unmedicated birth.

Can I start the course later in pregnancy?

Yes. While many parents begin around 20–30 weeks, the course can still be valuable later in pregnancy. Please get in touch and we can discuss the best option for your circumstances.

CLIENT EXPERIENCE

“I had the pleasure of having Toni as our hypnobirthing coach. I was very late to the idea but Toni was able to curate a special way to deliver us the full hypnobirthing course in a short period. It was invaluable to us- and my husband really learnt the power of breathing and continued to use the skills with our baby to help regulate himself and our little one too. She has been so amazing and part of our process in transitioning to parenthood."
